We had the pleasure of working with Sasha and Kevin to plan their wedding from start to finish. Over the course of a year, we collaborated closely with this wonderful couple to create a spectacular wedding weekend at Cowdray House.
The celebrations began with an intimate dinner for the bridal party, who stayed at the house throughout the weekend. The following evening, we hosted a pre-wedding party at a charming village pub nearby, featuring canapés, bowl food, and live music, it was the perfect evening for all of the wedding guests to meet and get to know one another.
The wedding ceremony itself took place in a picturesque village church, with guests transported via Red Routemaster buses. The reception, which was back at Cowdray House, was simply stunning, complete with cocktails from The Drunken Jockey’s, a delicious three course wedding breakfast by Jacaranda. The entertainment was provided by the amazing The Function band throughout the meal and into the evening.
The overall design of the wedding was elegant and truly timeless with abundant seasonal foliage paired with crisp bright creams and white’s to create a truly soft and gorgeous intimate dinner setting. With over 200 candles adorning the tables for the wedding breakfast, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. The evening ended with a firework display and the weather was the perfect winters day. It was such a pleasure to work with this lovely couple and create such a special weekend for them.
